She is an internationally respected project manager who combines technical insight and accomplished communication and team management skills to deliver operational ITS projects and services. She has worked on all aspects of the lifecycle of ITS projects, from feasibility studies through to implementation and post-project evaluation. Helen has extensive experience in the development of policy and business cases, operational management of road networks and traffic control centres, driver information systems and behavioural responses to such systems, data exchange, trends analysis and data manipulation, national and European projects.

Graham Harris

Graham Harris is an experienced architect and project director and has taken an active involvement in driving IBI Group’s design processes, ensuring heightened standards in architectural output and efficient working methods, including BIM & 3D Visualisation. Skilled at delivering all aspects of a project, he is particularly strong at executing innovative stakeholder consultation processes. He places collaborative working as the focus of his leadership, winning awards for outstanding team delivery and high client satisfaction.

In healthcare, he works alongside clients to transform their ‘model of care’ into an efficient and therapeutic healing environment, ensuing overall cost savings and improving service delivery. Graham is highly competent at meeting the design challenges posed by complex refurbishment works within a live hospital environment. His experience includes the development of complicated phasing plans to meet both clinical and construction requirements. With a rich background in healthcare design, Graham is very aware of Trust requirements, ensuring solutions address future flexibility, energy efficiency and most importantly reduced infection rates by introducing innovations such as the IBI Group ‘cruciform ward’.

In education, Graham has been exposed to a number of Government initiatives, including Building Schools for the Future and the Primary Capital programme. He has hands-on experience of the tight parameters specified by these schemes, responding with holistic solutions to safeguard design quality and exceed clients’ ‘value for money’ expectations.

Graeme Scott

Graeme is the Intelligence Sector Lead for UK & Ireland, with responsibility for the strategy, growth and development of IBI’s business in the region, working closely with the sub-sector leads Colin Wilson (consulting services), Duncan Elder (solutions) and Mark Jenkins (operations).

He has more than 25 years’ experience in intelligent transport systems and smart cities areas, providing strategic advice and management to public and private sector organisations in the use of technology to support transport networks and city operations.  Project experience ranges from research and feasibility, planning and design through to implementation and operation.

Graeme also plays a lead role in industry bodies, being a Director of ITS (UK), the Chair of MaaS Scotland and a Board Member of Technology Scotland.

Garry Howard

Garry Howard is a talented designer, skilled at executing complex design exercises for both the healthcare and education sector. An active listener, Garry works closely with clients to translate their aspirations into a robust brief. He engages all stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and creative solution with a keen interest in providing a sustainable design. Garry’s involvement in PFI projects has made the most of his ability to conceptualise highly complicated schemes. His expertise lies in visualising ideas with speed and accuracy, allowing new designs to be explored with ease.

With a history of leading large design teams and consortia, Garry is confident at delivering projects of any size and at all stages of design and procurement. In healthcare, Garry offers a great depth of experience, from complex acute hospitals to smaller, specialist mental health facilities. With a good understanding of healthcare planning, he has been able to offer clients creative solutions that meet their ‘model of care’ whilst designing-in both flexibility and expansion opportunities for future change.

In education, Garry has worked with Colleges, including specialist agricultural schools and Local Authorities to develop designs that are cost-effective and adaptable whilst providing environments that help foster a positive learning experience.

Gareth Bower

Gareth Bower has over ten years of experience and a long track record in delivery of complex system and technology projects. He has a background in system architecture design, software development and technical consultancy and particular expertise in Geographic Information Systems, application development, data modelling, databases and web systems. Gareth is a technical coordinator and systems manager for numerous projects at IBI Group, and has managed development teams on a number of key projects for Transport Scotland, Transport for London and National Roads Authority. Gareth is also jointly responsible for the UK Systems group, managing a team of designers, developers and technology specialists.

Emma White

Emma White is a qualified architect and a recognized specialist in healthcare design, working on £1 billion+ health schemes in the UK and Canada. Her experience at the successful set-up and delivery of these large-scale projects has led to her responsibilities broadening within IBI Group to overseeing QA and Process Improvements. Emma is a confident leader, successfully managing complex supply chain and stakeholder groups. She is experienced at managing large teams in the design and construction of healthcare facilities, and applies her in-depth knowledge in the development and implementation of design processes, schedules and protocols to assist in the management, and coordination of projects. Notable projects include the Queen Elizabeth University & Royal Hospital for Children and the Peterborough City Hospital, which was successfully delivered three months early.

Focused on programme, budget and design excellence, she will always strive to deliver cutting-edge healthcare facilities.

Doug Rodger

He has developed and delivered a wide range of innovative technology and ITS solutions for a number of high profile clients, improving network monitoring and management, expanding and enhancing travel and traffic information and developing national policy. He has extensive knowledge of major ITS system fundamentals covering analysis, design, specification, procurement, development, implementation and operation.

With a comprehensive technical background and excellent, communication and organisational skills he is experienced in effectively managing teams and is responsible for managing IBI Group’s consultants in Scotland. Doug holds a first class Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is PRINCE2 accredited.
