Marie Seupersadsingh joined IBI Group shortly after graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computer Science for Data Management. In her 35+ years with IBI Group, Marie has been involved in the design and development of a variety of systems ranging from Traffic Management, Fleet Management, Traveller Information, Incident Processing, to Financial Accounting, Revenue Management and Tolling. She has gained extensive experience in the various phases of the software development life cycle ranging from gathering user specifications and producing functional specifications through software development and implementation to user documentation, testing and training.
Marie has demonstrated excellent organizational and planning skills and attention to detail; as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers and various levels of management. Marie designed the back office for the first IBI Toll System in Greece and since then has lead the IBI toll team in the design, development and implementation of information management for each of its many toll systems. She specializes in database design, development and implementation of information management systems.

David Hook

David is a Transportation Engineer with IBI Group and has over 14 years of professional experience in transportation planning and engineering design. As manager of IBI Ottawa’s transportation engineering team, David’s core responsibility is to oversee the production of transportation impact assessment studies in support of Official Plan, Zoning By-law Amendment, and Site Plan Control applications, as well as the management of development-related transportation facility design projects. He also has a wide array of experience in the following areas:

Samson Li P.Eng

Mr. Samson Li is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, specifying, and coordinating Tunnel Ventilation Systems (TVS) for various rail transit projects throughout his career; heavily involved throughout the life-cycle from design, specification, installation, to testing and commissioning of the TVS for these rapid transit projects. He also has many years of producing and reviewing fire simulation models for transit projects, and is familiar with the programs and standards involved. Having produced both mechanical and architectural drawings, combined with the experience of working with several senior architects and engineers during his career, it has provided him an understanding of the required integration and coordination of tunnel ventilation systems within transit station design.

Samson has also been in the position of site engineer and coordinator for a considerable amount of time during his career, gaining him knowledge in general construction and equipment maintenance. He has also held the roles of ‘Tunnel Ventilation team lead’ and ‘Mechanical Tunnel Ventilation Supervisor’, and applied the knowledge and skills he has obtained to lead a team of CFD fire modelers and TVS designers.

In her current role, Christine manages IBI’s Water Facilities business and is engaged in all aspects of the group including business development, project execution and staff management.

Brittany Moore has 13 years of experience providing architectural services, initially as a Technologist and Document Controller, and for the past 12 years as a Specification Writer. She manages the Specifications and Document Control departments and is responsible for the production of specifications for the architectural, structural and civil disciplines. She coordinates and assembles specifications company-wide for offices across Canada for transit, industrial, automotive, commercial and institutional project types. Brittany provides central management of master specifications, standards and the architectural product library. She is also a member of CSC (Construction Specifications Canada) and received her CSP (Certified Specification Practitioner) in 2016.

Fady Shweihat, P.Eng. is an experienced Senior Project Manager and Team Leader at IBI Group with 18 years of diverse experience working on a variety of water and wastewater engineering projects in the municipal, industrial, oil/gas and mining sectors. In his capacity as a Manager, Fady has been effective in ensuring his objectives of quality project delivery, staff engagement and budget / schedule control performances are met. His technical skills and experience are in all phases of linear municipal infrastructure includes detailed design and/or analysis of linear infrastructure of large and small diameter watermain, trenchless design (HDD, MTBM, TBM, HAB), storm and sanitary sewers, road reconstruction, earthwork calculations, storm water management, hydraulic analysis, preparation of cost estimates and tender documents, contract administration and site inspections. Through much of Fady’s career, he has been working under the ISO 9001 banner and as such, is experienced with the quality control processes in producing technical documentation and drawings, revision control, reviewing/checking procedures, and document control.

William (Will) Heywood

Will has extensive progressive engineering experience both in Canada and abroad in the field of Water Resources. He is currently an Associate Manager for the Stormwater Management Solutions and Water Resources teams in Markham. His areas of expertise include hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, watershed studies, stormwater management design (including Low Impact Development (LID)), flood plain analysis, erosion and sediment control, municipal engineering including design of major and minor conveyance systems, highway drainage including culvert and bridge hydraulics, Computer Modelling associated with the above analyses, preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and specifications for Water Resources projects. As Team Lead, Will is also responsible for engineering project management, technical support, staff coordination, peer review, client relations, and business development. He is a member of the Ontario Good Roads Association Sewer Design Curriculum Development Committee and coordinator and annual lecturer for their Sewer Design course
