Shujun Liu is a Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the design of mechanical systems for industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings for both private and public sector clients. He has in-depth knowledge of building codes and standards, which he applies to the detailed design of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems. Shujun has recently led a ten-man mechanical team for multiple TTC stations, Metrolinx layovers at Mimico and Lewis Road, Metrolinx James Station in Hamilton, the Metrolinx Stouffville Corridor pursuit and the Honda Alliston Paint Shop.

Scott Johnston is a transportation planner with six years of experience in project management, functional planning, travel demand modeling, and traffic engineering. He has expertise in the application of travel demand modeling software to evaluate roadway and public transit operations and improvement needs, as well as recent experience with micro-simulation of transportation corridors for EA purposes. Scott has been involved with various transportation related studies, including transit and roadway planning, master plans, survey design and methodology, analysis of data, and reporting.

Scott Arbuckle has 25 years of diverse land development and urban planning experience and is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and is a Registered Professional Planner. Scott is recognized by the Ontario Municipal Board (OPPI) as an expert in the area of land use planning. Areas of practice include: planning feasibility/due diligence studies, community design visioning, official plans, official plan amendments, district/secondary plans, block plans, plans of subdivision, zoning by-law amendments, consents, minor variances, site plans and open space design.

Scott is the principal client liaison and project manager for a full scale of land development projects and is ultimately accountable for achieving client performance expectations including schedule, budget and product delivery. He is responsible for leading an in-house team of planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture and design professionals; as well as the management of interdisciplinary teams of sub-consultants including urban design, architectural, environmental, geotechnical, hydro geological, transportation, infrastructure and storm water management consultants.

Santosh Mishra has over 15 years of experience with a specialization in transit technology, consulting for all transit modes. Santosh’s work encompasses planning, procurement and implementation of a full range of transit technologies that address the full spectrum needs of a transit agency and to date, he has assisted more than 50 agencies nationwide.

Apart from transit technology deployments, Santosh has significant expertise in large transportation data (transit and non-transit) acquisition, management and utilization and was invited to write a guest article in the Mass Transit Magazine under Best Practices column. Santosh also has significant experience in transportation technology research and evaluation and co-authored TCRP Project A-31 Transit, Call Centers and 511: A Guide for Decision Makers, and TCRP Project J-09, Task 12: ‘New and Emerging Technologies’. Further, he has led several tasks related to recent USDOT research and demonstration projects, including United We Ride/Mobility Service for All Americans and Connected Vehicle/Dynamic Mobility programs.

Sandra Hayman has over 30 years of experience in the civil consulting field in southwestern Ontario. Her areas of expertise are water resources stormwater management and municipal servicing design. Her experience brings a level of due diligence to project designs, ensuring they not only meet provincial and municipal requirements but timelines and budgets as well.Sandra was the Senior Design Engineer/Project Manager for the Riverside Drive reconstruction project in London, Ontario and is currently wrapping design for the Pincombe Drain Stormwater Management Facility.

Salim Narayanan has over 25 years of experience in various capacities ranging from Senior Project Manager to Designer in architecture for projects in Canada, USA, Middle East and India. He is skilled in developing design concepts, construction documentation, contract administration, and liaising with consultants, construction companies, city authorities, and clients. His experience in North America primarily includes mixed-use high-rise residential buildings. His previous experience also includes residential and office towers, commercial complexes, hotel and resort projects, institutional and healthcare facilities, sports/multi-purpose halls, movie theatres, industrial buildings, transit centers, housing complexes, luxury palaces, and grand houses. Salim has a keen interest in integrating technology, detailing, and functional design.

Saif Zaidi is a passionate, creative and innovative Architect with over 20 years of experience in architectural and interior design. He has designed and managed projects ranging from large scale mixed-use, hospitality, retail and high-rise residential. A natural leader and strategic thinker with demonstrated expertise in concept, design development, contract management, project management as well as client management and business development. Always looking for a balance between Form vs Function, each project becomes an opportunity to use innovative ideas and technology to create design solutions.

Saif is a Registered member of Ontario Association of Architect and Toronto Society of Architects. Working on design-build module projects has enabled him to provide practical design solutions and coordinate with multidisciplinary trades more effectively. His attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills ensure that every project he works on is completed on schedule and to the highest possible standard.

Ryan Tomas is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in municipal engineering and land development. Ryan has provided preliminary and detailed engineering design, project management, contract administration, construction supervision, and surveying for various projects throughout the City of Edmonton and surrounding area.

Ron Stewart, P.Eng., MBA, is a Regional Director for IBI Group, responsible for the leadership and oversight of the company’s ten offices across the Canada East Region. Ron has over 35 years of experience in transportation engineering, managing and administering resources, building collaborative multidisciplinary teams, and delivering successful projects. Having joined IBI Group in 1998, Ron is very familiar with its history, work, and people.  He provides expertise in traffic engineering, road safety, transportation planning, transit systems, intelligent transportation systems, and signal system operations and maintenance to numerous clients in the private and public sectors across Canada, at the municipal, provincial, and federal level. Before IBI Group, Ron served as Senior Manager, Traffic Systems with the City of Toronto.

Ron has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration from York University. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC). He is an active member of TAC’s Traffic Operations and Management Standing Committee.

Rod Sieker is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in municipal engineering. He specializes in land development, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and has provided preliminary and detailed engineering design, site planning, project management and contract administration, and construction supervision. He has also completed site servicing assessments addressing sanitary, stormwater, potable water supply, and transportation requirements for greenfield developments and redevelopment projects.
