William Sanabria

William Sanabria has over 24 years of experience in the management of transportation design and construction projects in the areas of highways, freeways, arterial roads and urban streets, as well as, storm and sanitary sewers. His design work includes all aspects of highway and municipal infrastructure, including Class Environmental Assessments, roadway, drainage, roadside protection, utility coordination, drafting and contract documentation. William has a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and applicable codes and standards, including York Region Design Standards and Guidelines and Ontario Provincial Standards.

He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is a member of the Transportation Association of Canada Geometric Design Standing Committee.

Vince Gallo

Vince Gallo has 20 years of experience and throughout this time, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects including the Aviva Centre Tennis Stadium (Canada’s National Tennis Centre) at York University, the School of Medicine at the University of Waterloo, State Farm Insurance Aurora Operations Centre, McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business located in Burlington Ontario, and numerous LCBO projects located throughout the province.

Vince was instrumental in the selection of IBI as the Architect of Record for LCBO. Vince continues to manage projects involving both new-build and renovation of their many wine and liquor stores.

Vince brings an organized and comprehensive teamwork approach to all his projects, developing excellent working relationships with clients, consultants and team members alike.

She leads clients with strategic planning, financial analysis, and critical thinking around design and development for construction and operations. Throughout the project lifecycle, emphasis is given to innovation, value, constructability, and maintainability. As a leading professional in the infrastructure solutions practice, Usha advises public agencies and private infrastructure concessions and operators on the technology roadmap for their capital and operational expenditures for successful operations. With the ever-changing arena of intelligent transportation systems and the digital economy, it has been important to offer sustainable design solutions to our clients.

As a leader in IBI’s Intelligence sector, Usha has led strategies for continued growth in areas where operational efficiencies can be achieved through both automation and digital solutions. Trevor McIntyre

Trevor McIntyre is Global Director, Placemaking. He is responsible for leading the landscape architecture and urban design practices across the firm. Trevor is a landscape architect and member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architecture and the American Society of Landscape Architecture.

Trevor has been a leading planner, landscape architect, and urban designer for more than 20 years, with projects in Canada, USA, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia. He leads the Toronto design practice in community planning and design, master planning, and landscape architecture. He has a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph.

Tony Withall

Primarily focusing on commercial developments for several large private Canadian companies, Tony has used his expertise in planning instrument analysis and interpretation, and site design to obtain approval for a large number of QSR restaurants and service stations throughout Ontario.

Tony Wai

Tony Wai has over ten years of experience working on award-winning projects built in cities across Canada. In his studies, he received a Master of Architecture degree at the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Architectural and Visual Studies at the University of Toronto. He specializes in designing functional and efficient buildings, while challenging architectural standards to ensure that each project is unique and conceived through reason and dialog with the context.

Tony designs buildings that address issues at the urban, building, and human scale. His portfolio is rich with different building types from award-winning single family homes to residential high-rises, offices, city halls, hospitals, museums, and community centres.

Tony Gill

He is an architect and member of the Architectural Institute of BC, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, National Council of Architectural Registration Board, and the American Institute of Architects. He has extensive experience in the design and management of specialized institutional, high-tech facilities, protective services, and healthcare facilities. His focus has been on designing facilities with complex functional and building system requirements; in particular, he specializes in healthcare master planning, programming, medical planning, and strategic planning. He has managed facilities procured as design-bid-build, design-build, and design-bid-maintain-finance-operate (Public-Private Partnerships).

Tony has a Master of Science degree in architecture and urban design from Columbia University.

Titka holds a master degree in architecture and is a registered member of Ontario Association of Architect, a member of Toronto Society of Architects, Urban Land Institute and Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Tissa De Silva

Tissa De Silva leads the global practice of Intelligent Systems at airports, seaports and other major transportation environments. He specializes in ITS systems and solutions, including Traffic Management and Traffic Safety Systems on both local and International arenas. He has over 25 years of experience in Advanced Information Technology Systems, including System Architecture, Software, Hardware, Application Design and Solutions. He is a North American expert for the U.S. National ITS Architecture Program and for Volpe Research Center in the U.S.

Real-time control, monitoring, and revenue management systems for transportation networks and Artificial Intelligence-based control and optimization of energy management solutions for “Smart City” water utilities are marquee projects he has directed for clients in Canada and the U.S.

Tissa has worked with Homeland Security in the U.S. on developing cargo container / railcar monitoring and control systems as well as major revenue management systems for transportation management authorities. He has also led multi-million dollar Revenue Management and Monitoring and Control Systems for a variety of transportation clients across the globe.

Terry Ruszczak

Terry Ruszczak is a dedicated, results-oriented, energetic and creative Architectural Technologist, with 35 years of experience in contract administration/field inspection, with an emphasis on project management and leadership. He directs the drafting team for working drawings, tendering, shop drawing review and monitored/inspected the project on-site as liaison between the client, consultants and contractors. He is commended for his communication with multiple stakeholders in the implementation of designs into construction documents.

Comprehensive knowledge of building science principles, construction methods and techniques and his understanding of zoning by-laws allow for Terry’s unique and creative ability to execute accurate working drawings for building permit application and construction maintaining the highest levels of Life Safety.
