Christopher Campbell

Christopher is a Senior Consultant with the intelligent systems group in the Toronto office. His 21-year career in intelligent transportation systems with IBI Group spans a variety of roles and clients, including the design and construction management of infrastructure for traffic management systems, travel time information systems, traffic signals and highway signage. His strengths include effective, non-confrontational negotiation, which makes him very effective in administration of construction contracts. Christopher is currently managing construction administration of an 8-km expansion of the MTO’s COMPASS system and he is the lead ITS designer on Phase II of the Hwy 407 East extension.

Warren Mack

Warren has over 25 years of progressive international experience in the design, planning, and construction of diverse project typologies and scale. He has worked amongst award winning global firms and interdisciplinary teams on multi-billion-dollar masterplans, high-rise office and residential towers, hospitality projects, educational and corporate campuses, mixed-use developments, and sustainable initiatives. Specific areas of expertise are in establishing high-level conceptual thinking and problem solving towards project vision, liaising with clients and stakeholders, team leadership, and effective project delivery of detailed design solutions. Warren is a strong believer in design as a communicative process, building upon narratives that lead to lasting relationships and successful projects by means of amassing and testing the diverse ideas and expertise of all team members involved.

Having joined IBI in 2018, Warren’s role was in providing support for the management and growth of the high-rise residential design team while leading several files within the GTA and Montreal concurrently. Having since branched out to lend his expertise towards the growth of the US Building Sector, he has been directing design on a broader range of project designations and P3 pursuits. In addition to his project commitments, he has been instrumental in the evolution of the IBI Design Excellence Committee, intended to showcase the value of design and the collective talents within the firm by promoting innovative thinking, mentoring, integration of technology formats, project reviews, award selections and submissions for publication.

Warren has a keen sensibility for detail and craft, cultivated through his extensive hands-on experience of innovative structural solutions in wood framing, as illustrated in his designs of private houses and children’s camps while in Partnership within his former practice. He is an honours graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, a registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional, as well as an abstract artist, having shown his work across Canada, Europe, and the US.

Bill Thomas

Paul Perejma

Paul is a Civil Engineer with over nine years of experience in residential, commercial, industrial, municipal and marine design projects. Paul continues to add to his skillset of project management, design, drafting, cost estimates, tender preparation, and contract administration. He is licensed in both BC and AB and is familiar with design adaptations to suit each region.

He is currently involved in projects surrounding the devastating wildfires that hit Fort McMurray in 2016 and plays a part in ensuring the rehabilitation efforts help residents move back home.

Donna Johnston

Donna is a licensed architect and LEED-accredited professional with extensive experience as Project Manager for the programming, master planning, design and construction of complex technical facilities. An Associate with IBI Group with a focus on institutional projects, she has been involved in many challenging educational and science-based lab buildings for diagnostics, research and general academics; transit projects; health care institutions and geriatric facilities, and courthouses. With a solid background in a variety of project delivery types, including compliance-based, design-build, fast-track, P3/AFP, and construction management, she is able to bring creative approaches to the realization of demanding projects. Her experience also extends to corporate, retail, custom residential and interior design. With an integrated and cooperative approach to team-building, Donna frequently assumes the role of user-needs coordinator, and has been the lead for a number of successful and award-winning joint-venture collaborations.

Donna is a graduate of Carleton University.

Michael Sampson

Michael Sampson has over 15 years of industry experience, including 10 years of contract administration. He has worked on projects ranging from small municipal reconstructions, to assisting with assembling P3 bids worth over $500m. He is currently responsible for contract administration and project coordination, including coordinating with regulatory agencies, utilities, contractors, municipalities and owners. He has oversight of various construction projects from the initial data gathering through the preparation of contract documents and site services, to the completion of warranty, and manages the lifecycle of the construction contract for owners to ensure a coordinated, successful completion.

Bryan McKeown

With over 25 years of experience, Bryan McKeown’s background is with education facilities and high-rise residential buildings. He served as project architect on five major school projects with the NYC School Construction Authority: two new early childhood centers, an addition to an inter­mediate school, and a new design-build primary school. Notably, Bryan recently oversaw the renovation and expansion of Columbia Grammar and Prep School. As project manager, Bryan leads a team to ensure prompt and successful completion of a building project. He is knowledgeable, conscientious, and capable of working with a diverse range of trades and specifications to complete a project successfully.

James Gibson

James has over 10 years of experience applying GIS technology to solve problems in a wide variety of business sectors including land use planning, real estate & economic planning, municipal infrastructure, transportation, and renewable energy. As a Certified GIS Professional and Certified Planning Technician, James is able to combine his understanding of land use planning and land development with his knowledge of Geographic Information Systems to perform meaningful analysis and identify spatial patterns and trends. James has played a key role in numerous projects requiring land use analysis, development constraint analysis, master servicing plans, conceptual designs, transportation planning, asset management and inventories, site selection analysis, data management, data collection and manipulation, data visualization, and database design.

Serving as a Regional GIS Lead, James is also involved in a variety of global initiatives that aim to promote and increase IBI’s use of geospatial technology across the firm. These initiatives have helped to highlight the power of spatial analysis and demonstrate why GIS technology can and should be leveraged across all of IBI’s business sectors.

Cristina Martinez

Cristina Martinez is a Transportation Planner with experience ranging from large-scale freeway and transit impact projects to local active transportation projects, transit-oriented development, master and specific plans, and parking/traffic management studies. Her work in public, private, and non-profit sector planning has shaped her passion for creating community-inclusive solutions to issues that affect our urban and social environments.

As Regional GIS Lead for the United States, Cristina helps coordinate IBI’s global network of GIS professionals and is involved with internal initiatives to further integrate geospatial technology into IBI’s project work. Her expertise in GIS includes data management and analysis, data visualization, geospatial analysis, and interactive map development.
