Anaheim, CAModernization helps Servite High School deliver education excellence
IBI Group and Servite High School, a highly successful all-boys Catholic school, are collaborating to implement the facility master plan to make Servite the “premier formation school in both programs and facilities” in the area. Built in 1958, many of the school’s facilities needed upgrades and/or replacement to serve the technology and program requirements for next generation learning.
This modernization/reconstruction program is being constructed in several phases:
- The first phase included a campus-wide master plan, re-designed plaza and gardens to integrate the new buildings and upgrade their outdoor learning environments
- Modernization of the library
- New aquatic center and baseball complex
- Subsequent phases will include a new formation building including a 5 court gym and academic spaces, and a new chapel that will incorporate a reflective prayer garden
The recent grand opening of the new Father Fitzpatrick Aquatic Center features a 51-meter, 7-lane, Olympic-sized pool with extra wide lanes for faster times, and it positions Servite to host California Interscholastic Federation – Southern Section regional and national swimming and water polo tournaments.
Servite can now nearly double its student participation capacity and has further extended its connection to the neighborhood and community with additional programs and events being hosted at the facility and on the pool deck.
