2020 Design Excellence Awards
At IBI Group, we strive for design excellence across our practice areas and are always looking for ways to raise the bar. In 2019, we launched the Design Excellence Awards program to celebrate exceptional work from across our 60+ global offices.
Now in its second year, our theme for 2020 was INNOVATION. We welcomed submissions from across our three sectors—Intelligence, Buildings and Infrastructure—and saw over 100 entries. After a rigorous judging process, this final list of winners represents IBI Group’s best and most innovative work from around the world.
Company-Wide Projects of the Year
Digital Engagement Foyer
Cross-sector/Collaboration
The Digital Engagement Foyer is an innovative response to the pandemic. COVID-19 has upended the way we live, work, and interact with each other, making online engagement an essential substitute for in-person events. In partnership with IBI’s Placemaking and Visualization teams, Digital Foyers have been implemented at four IBI events, five third-party events, and on 20 projects, with the list growing weekly.
