Jessica Deslippe

Jessica Deslippe is a Transportation Engineer with over 5 years of experience, focusing on traffic operations and road user safety for both public and private sector clients. Her experience in transportation engineering is broad, and includes the preparation of traffic operations analysis, traffic signal operations, microsimulation modelling, traffic safety analysis, roundabout analysis, and the development of strategic plans. Jessica has completed signal timing coordination studies for numerous agencies, including the City of Toronto and Durham Region, as well as developed optimized timing plans for different stages of construction for large-scale transit projects, including as the vivaNext Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in York Region. Jessica also has experience with curbside management, congestion management, and event management planning. Working on these types of projects has provided her with a thorough understanding of mobility trends, the balance between mobility and safety, and trade-offs between different road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, transit, trucks, vehicles, and other unique road users.
