IBI Group Releases Canadian COVID-19 Dashboard Powered by its Smart City Platform
As cities and provinces in Canada consider reopening their economies, reliable data and thoughtful analysis is more critical than ever. Powered by IBI Group’s Smart City Platform, our Canadian COVID-19 Dashboard provides a nation-wide perspective on the pandemic, and enables public and private organizations to visualize and analyze trends in communities across the country. The dashboard displays current and historical COVID-19 data on a national scale, as well as information related to health facilities, including hospitals, testing sites, and long-term care centres.
Users can view weekly trends on case and recovery rates all the way down to local and regional health levels, with the option to filter by demographic. Data and trends are refreshed on a daily basis and aggregated by health regions, depending on the province. More granular data will be incorporated as it is made publicly available.
We are providing this tool at no cost in an effort to help our country manage the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also invested in planning and monitoring health and other related outcomes associated with restarting the economy on regional and community scales. Additional data sets will be added to ensure Canadians get the information they need to make informed decisions, and we encourage any public- or private-sector organizations interested in receiving additional data to contact Smart Cities Task Force Lead, Bruno Peters, at bpeters@IBIGroup.com.
