Crosslinx consortium named Preferred Proponent for ECLRT
IBI Group, the Design Engineering Joint Venture partner with SNC-Lavalin, is pleased Crosslinx Transit Solutions consortium, composed of ACS Infrastructure Canada, Aecon, EllisDon, SNC-Lavalin, and Dragados Canada, has been selected by Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx as the Preferred Proponent for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the 19 km Eglinton Crosstown LRT line, including 25 stations.
“This is a major achievement for the Crosslinx consortium and IBI Group, and reaffirms our strong presence in the transit sector.” said Scott Stewart, CEO of IBI Group. “We are proud to have been chosen to participate in this, the largest transit project in Canada.”
